BMW M Motorsport is entering a custom-built M3 Touring station wagon in the Nürburgring 24-hour race, marking the first time the brand has competed with a station wagon in such a major event. The car, driven by Jens Klingmann, Ugo de Wilde, Connor De Phillippi, and Neil Verhagen, will race in the SPX exhibition class.
It joins the ranks of legendary racing station wagons, including the famous 1994 Volvo 850 Estate that competed in the British Touring Car Championship.
