Seven-time Wimbledon champion Serena Williams will make her return to the tournament on Tuesday. The 44-year-old will face Australia's Maya Joint in the first round on the iconic Centre Court at the All England Club.

Williams, the winner of 23 Grand Slam titles, last played at Wimbledon in 2022. She had announced her retirement that year but has now returned to competitive tennis.

Other top-seeded players are also scheduled for the second day of the main draw. Defending champion Iga Swiatek will play earlier on Centre Court, while men's and women's second seeds Alexander Zverev and Elena Rybakina will compete on Court Number One.
