Tottenham Hotspur has been fined 30,000 euros ($35,000) by UEFA for "racist or discriminatory behaviour" exhibited by their fans during a Champions League match. The incident occurred during a 2-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in January.
Additionally, European soccer's governing body imposed a suspended one-match ban on selling tickets to Spurs fans for future away matches in European competitions. This ban will be activated if a similar offense is repeated within a one-year probationary period. Tottenham is scheduled to face Atletico Madrid in the last 16 of the competition this month.
