Team USA has secured a gold medal on one of the final days of the Winter Olympics. The freestyle skiing mixed team aerials event saw Kaila Kuhn, Connor Curran, and Christopher Lillis clinch the top spot. The American trio achieved a combined score of 325.35, surpassing competitors from Switzerland, China, and Australia.

Christopher Lillis’s performance earned him 117.19 points for a back double full-full-full jump. Connor Curran received 113.72 points for his back full-double full-full, and Kaila Kuhn contributed 94.44 points. This victory marks the second consecutive gold medal for Team USA in this event, which was introduced in the 2022 Beijing Olympics.

These Olympic Games represent the first medal for both Curran and Kuhn. At 21, Curran is the youngest aerialist competing. Kuhn, who previously finished eighth in women's aerials at the 2022 Beijing Olympics, is a returning champion after winning gold at the 2025 Freestyle Ski World Championships in both the women's aerials and the mixed team event.

The gold medal brings Team USA's total medal count for the Games to 30, with 11 golds.
