Team USA has captured a record-breaking 11th gold medal at the Milano Cortina Winter Games. The achievement came after Kaila Kuhn, Connor Curran, and Chris Lillis secured the mixed team aerials title.

This 11th gold surpasses the previous record set in Salt Lake City in 2022. The win elevates the U.S. to 30 total medals, positioning them second to Norway, which set a Winter Games record with 17 gold medals.

The U.S. has seen remarkable success across various sports, including freeskiing, Alpine skiing, moguls, figure skating, bobsled, and speedskating. Notable gold medalists include Alex Ferreira, Breezy Johnson, Elizabeth Lemley, Alysa Liu, Elana Meyers Taylor, Mikaela Shiffrin, and Jordan Stolz, who achieved multiple victories.

The U.S. figure skating team also earned a gold medal, their second consecutive win. The U.S. women's hockey team clinched gold in a dramatic overtime victory against Canada.
