World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has announced that its Night of Champions premium live event will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on June 27. This announcement comes as the Trump administration brokered a ceasefire with Iran, a conflict that had previously raised concerns for sporting events in the region.

General Entertainment Authority chairman Turki Al-Sheikh expressed pride in welcoming the event back to Riyadh, promising an unforgettable night of WWE action for fans globally. Further solidifying its partnership with the kingdom, WWE also confirmed that WrestleMania 43 will take place in Riyadh in 2027, marking the first time the event is held outside the United States or Canada.

WWE president Nick Khan had previously affirmed the commitment to holding events in Saudi Arabia despite Middle East conflict, dismissing any objections as the voice of a 'vocal minority.'
