Apple is enhancing Family Sharing with the release of iOS 26.4, allowing adults to use their personal payment methods for shared purchases. Previously, all transactions went through the family organizer's card, creating inconvenience for adult users. This update addresses the issue, making Family Sharing more flexible and user-friendly for adults.
The update also includes several other features, such as an AI-generated playlist function for Apple Music and eight new emojis following the Unicode 17 standard. iOS 26.4 is currently in the Release Candidate phase and is expected to roll out to the public soon.
