Anduril and Palantir Technologies are developing software for the U.S. Golden Dome antimissile shield, a source familiar with the matter confirmed.
The $185 billion program aims to deploy a space-based defense system capable of intercepting ballistic, cruise, and hypersonic missiles. The price tag recently rose by $10 billion to accelerate critical space capabilities.
Both firms have pursued involvement since the project’s inception. Anduril previously secured one of six prototype contracts awarded in November. Earlier reports linked them with SpaceX on related efforts.
Other participants include Aalyria Technologies, Scale AI, and Swoop Technologies. Prime contractors Lockheed Martin, RTX, and Northrop Grumman are also onboard.
The companies declined to comment on the latest development.
