Cybersecurity firm Barracuda Networks has expanded its BarracudaONE platform with three major upgrades: enhanced email security for Google Workspace, strengthened network edge protection via SecureEdge Access, and new generative AI risk visibility features.
The updated email security neutralizes phishing and account takeover attempts with advanced impersonation protection and automated incident response, offering consistent coverage across both Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
SecureEdge Access now integrates secure internet access, zero-trust application access, firewall-as-a-service, and AI usage controls in a cloud-delivered package designed to simplify security in distributed environments.
Barracuda’s AI Security module-available at no extra cost-detects shadow AI activity, assigns risk scores, enforces policies, and provides multitenant dashboards to improve AI governance and reduce data exposure.
Concurrently, Barracuda overhauled its Partner Success Program, unifying MSPs and resellers under one flexible structure. The revamped program includes tiered benefits, a new rebate model, an AI-powered partner portal, and the Barracuda Mastery certification track to deepen technical expertise.
