A cyber group tied to Iran's government intelligence units has hacked FBI Director Kash Patel's personal email, retaliating after the US and Israel reportedly killed Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The group, known as Handala Hack, claimed to have obtained confidential information from the FBI director. According to their statement, they managed to make personal and classified files of Kash Patel publicly available. The FBI has yet to provide a comment on the incident.
Handala Hack declared their action as a response to domain seizures and a reward offer for the arrest of their members. The group emphasizes their opposition to US support for Israel. Although the hackers claimed to have accessed a wealth of information, independent verification remains pending.
