Standard Template Labs Inc. has raised $49 million in seed funding to advance its AI-powered IT automation platform. The round was co-led by Iconiq and CRV, with Iconiq having incubated the company and recruited its founding team.
Founded by former Dropbox CTO Aditya Agarwal, STLabs targets inefficiencies in traditional IT service management (ITSM). Its platform resolves 80% of routine support tickets-like password resets or printer setup-using real-time data and AI.
Core to the system is Axiom, an AI module that replaces outdated configuration databases (CMDBs). Axiom auto-detects changes across more than 100 integrated applications and updates asset records without manual input, preventing stale data.
The platform also identifies cybersecurity gaps, suggests downtime-minimizing update strategies, and routes complex issues to human admins with root-cause analysis and remediation plans. STLabs is currently piloting with early customers and will use the capital to expand product capabilities.
