Singapore's Singtel faced mobile service disruptions for a third consecutive day Wednesday, with over 500 customer reports logged by 6:18 p.m. local time.
The telco reported restoring services by 5:08 p.m. after affecting a "small number" of users. Tuesday also saw connectivity issues, while Monday's outage lasted eight hours and impacted thousands.
Singtel stated there is no evidence linking the current incident to cyberattacks. This follows Singapore authorities' February revelation that all four major telcos were targeted by hacking group UNC3886, though no customer data was compromised.
The Infocomm Media Development Authority has launched an investigation into the disruptions.
