Defense technology startup Anduril Industries announced a $5 billion funding round on Wednesday, doubling its valuation to $61 billion.

The round was led by venture capital firms Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz.

Over the past year, Anduril has more than doubled its revenue to $2.2 billion in 2025 and nearly doubled its workforce. The company was valued at $30.5 billion in June 2025.

Anduril develops sensors and drones, gaining prominence amid increasing demand for low-cost autonomous defense products. Investors are seizing opportunities created by the ongoing U.S.-Iran war.
