Identity startup World has launched Agent Kit, a tool that allows humans to prove they control their AI agents. The service uses World ID, a cryptographically secure identity system based on iris scanning. With nearly 18 million verified users, World aims to help websites distinguish between real humans and automated bots. Instead of blocking AI traffic, sites could require an associated World ID token to ensure authenticity.
The technology could be used for online services like reservations, ticket purchases, and forums to prevent abuse by anonymous bots.
