A New York judge has declared a mistrial in the retrial of disgraced Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein after jurors failed to reach a unanimous verdict on allegations he sexually assaulted actor Jessica Mann.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg expressed disappointment but thanked the jury for their service. This is the third time Mann has testified against Weinstein, following a 2020 conviction that was overturned and a 2025 mistrial.
Weinstein remains in prison for other sex offenses, including a 16-year sentence in California for rape. His spokesman cited reasonable doubt, claiming nine of the 12 jurors favored acquittal.
