A Russian drone strike on a bus stop in Nikopol, Ukraine, killed three civilians and injured 12 others on Tuesday. The attack occurred in the central Dnipropetrovsk region.

Oleksandr Hanzha, the regional military administration head, stated the drone targeted a city bus as it arrived at the stop, striking people both on board and waiting. Hanzha characterized the incident as "deliberate terror against civilians."

This latest attack is part of a pattern of escalating daytime strikes by Moscow against civilian areas and critical infrastructure. Nikopol, situated across the Dnipro River from the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, is frequently targeted due to its proximity to Russian positions. The city's location presents challenges for Ukrainian defense, as interception efforts are limited to avoid endangering the nuclear facility.
