A tram derailed and crashed into a building in Milan on Friday afternoon, killing one person and injuring 38 others.
The incident occurred around 4:00 PM local time as the line 9 tram was en route to Porta Genova. The vehicle struck pedestrians and a shop window.
Among the injured, one person is in critical condition, six are seriously injured, and the remaining suffered minor injuries.
