Inter Milan reclaimed the Serie A throne on Sunday with a commanding 2-0 victory over Parma at San Siro, a win that sent tens of thousands of fans into the streets of Milan.
Flanked by flares and fireworks, supporters packed Piazza del Duomo moments after the final whistle- a stark contrast to last season's heartbreak when Inter lost the league on the final day and suffered a 5-0 Champions League final loss to Paris Saint-Germain.
"I have no words," fan Fabio said. "Go Inter, always." Many supporters were seen in tears as the revelry continued.
The win rounds out a dominant campaign. Inter finishes the season with nearly double the goal difference of any rival, leaving no doubt about the best team in Italy.
The celebrations are expected to continue through the Coppa Italia final on May 13, where Inter faces Lazio with a domestic double on the line.
