Lactalis, a Canadian dairy producer, has recalled approximately 2,800 cases of Specially Selected crème brûlée sold at Aldi stores across seven U.S. states due to possible glass contamination.

The FDA classified the recall as Class II, indicating the product may cause temporary, reversible health issues but is not likely to cause serious harm.

Affected desserts can be identified by a use-by date of May 9, 2026, and barcode 4099100342826.

Products were sold in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, New York, and Virginia.

Customers are advised to check their refrigerators for the recalled items. Aldi has not yet specified refund or disposal instructions.
