BTS member Suga has joined forces with Severance Hospital to co-author a clinical manual for music-based autism therapy. Titled The MIND Program, the book outlines a framework designed to enhance social and communication skills for children through musical interaction.
The project stems from a collaboration initiated in 2024, culminating in the establishment of the Min Yoongi Centre. Suga donated 5 billion won to fund the facility, which aims to improve long-term medical and social support for autistic youth.
Professor Cheon Keun-ah led the research team, praising Suga’s artistic sensibility regarding the power of music. While currently available only in Korean, the manual represents a significant step forward in therapeutic frameworks.
