The Raptors 905 unveiled their new 16,000-square-foot practice facility at the Paramount Fine Foods Centre in Mississauga, Ont., becoming the first G League team with an exclusive NBA regulation court.

AJ Lawson, on a two-way contract with both the 905 and Toronto Raptors, tested the court with trick shots before dunking to declare it “a good gym.”

The facility, a partnership between MLSE and the City of Mississauga, includes a full-sized court, advanced training zones, medical rehab space, locker rooms, and a player lounge. It will be available 24/7 for team use and community access.

Head coach Drew Jones emphasized the value of consistency in talent development. Courtney Charles highlighted the human-centered design enabling personalized training.

Local youth groups were the first to use the court during a clinic led by players, underscoring the facility’s commitment to grassroots basketball in the GTA.
