Doc Rivers is no longer the head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks. ESPN reported Sunday that sources confirmed Rivers' departure following the team's 126-106 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, which concluded a 32-50 season and a missed NBA playoff berth. This marks the third head coaching search for the Bucks in as many years.

Rivers' exit occurs amid significant uncertainty surrounding the future of franchise star Giannis Antetokounmpo. Antetokounmpo played a career-low 36 games this past season due to a knee injury, sparking speculation and an NBA investigation into the handling of his sidelined status. The two-time MVP publicly expressed frustration over being held out of games despite feeling healthy enough to play.

Rivers, who previously coached the Boston Celtics to an NBA title in 2008, had returned to coaching after a stint in broadcasting. His tenure with the Bucks included first-round playoff exits in each of the past two seasons.
