Lewis Hamilton delivered his strongest performance yet in Ferrari colors, finishing second at the Canadian Grand Prix in Montreal. The seven-time world champion passed Red Bull's Max Verstappen in the closing laps to secure his second podium of the season.

Hamilton credited behind-the-scenes changes and a fresh car setup for the breakthrough. 'I chose a different setup this weekend, working really well with my engineer. I was able to attack all the corners finally,' he said.

He praised team principal Fred Vasseur for supporting the adjustments, noting, 'There's a lot of changes I've had to ask for, and Fred's been super supportive, moving mountains to make me comfortable.'

The result is especially encouraging given Montreal's emphasis on straight-line speed, traditionally a weakness for Ferrari. Hamilton admitted the journey had been tough, saying, 'I can't even begin to explain how deep I've had to dig.'
