LOS ANGELES - Tickets for the 2028 Olympic Games will go on sale to the general public on April 9, organizers LA28 announced. A local presale for residents in qualifying areas of Los Angeles and Oklahoma City begins April 2.

LA28's ticketing program includes 1 million tickets priced at $28, the lowest tier. Organizers state more than 75% of all tickets, including finals, will be under $400.

Separately, LA28 named its verified multi-platform resale program partners. AXS and Eventim will serve as the official secondary ticket marketplace, with Ticketmaster and Sports Illustrated Tickets also designated as verified platforms. The resale program will open in 2027.

Organizers emphasized that primary tickets will only be sold through official providers AXS and Eventim, and any LA28 tickets offered for resale before 2027 should not be considered verified.

For both the local presale and the first general sale 'Drop 1,' selected buyers will have 48-hour purchase windows. Tickets will be available across all Olympic sports and for ceremonies at SoFi Stadium and the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.

Registrants not assigned a time slot in initial draws will be automatically entered into future draws. Paralympic tickets are due to go on sale in 2027.
