The NBA has fined the Orlando Magic $25,000 for violating the league's injury reporting policies. The penalty stems from the team's handling of guard Anthony Black's availability ahead of a recent game.

Black, who missed 15 games with an abdominal strain, was initially listed as out for Monday's game against the Detroit Pistons. However, he entered the game and contributed 14 points. The NBA stated the Magic failed to accurately disclose Black's game status.

Orlando defeated the Pistons 123-107, marking their third consecutive win. The Magic are currently seventh in the Eastern Conference standings.
