New England Patriots running back TreVeyon Henderson has expressed support for former Chicago Bulls guard Jaden Ivey, who was recently released following a public rant against the NBA's Pride Month celebration. Ivey, a 24-year-old dealing with depression, posted his criticism on social media, calling the league's celebration of Pride Month 'unrighteousness.'

Henderson responded to news of Ivey's release by sharing a Bible passage: "Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, For theirs is the kingdom of heaven," from Matthew 5:10.

Ivey's comments have drawn attention as he has been vocal about his mental health struggles and has shared videos expressing his views on religion. Bulls head coach Billy Donovan addressed the situation, stating that while players come with their own experiences, there must be professionalism and respect within the organization. Donovan emphasized that Ivey's comments did not align with the franchise's values.

Donovan also noted his hope for Ivey's well-being, saying, "Certainly, I hope for him he's okay." Despite Ivey's focus on rehabilitating his knee and wanting to play, the Bulls organization felt it necessary to uphold certain standards.
