WWE is returning to Atlantic City for the first time in nearly two decades.
The company announced it will broadcast Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown from Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall on June 29. This marks WWE's first televised events at the historic venue since 2008.
Boardwalk Hall previously hosted WrestleMania IV in 1988 and WrestleMania V in 1989, cementing Atlantic City as a key location in WWE history.
Visit Atlantic City President and CEO Gary Musich called the return another step in the city's evolution as a premier entertainment destination. Oak View Group's Jim McDonald emphasized the venue's rich WWE history and the importance of hosting two major nationally televised shows.
WWE has not yet announced the talent lineup, though New Jersey natives Liv Morgan and AJ Lee are potential attractions for the event.
