Manna, the Dublin-based drone delivery company, is preparing to launch in the United States after completing 300,000 deliveries in Europe. CEO Bobby Healy says the company is operationally ready, and the US regulatory environment is now favorable.
Manna is already profitable on nearly every delivery, achieving strong margins per flight. The company aims to reach 2,000,000 annualized deliveries by the end of 2026, with a plan to drive the marginal cost of drone delivery down to about 20 cents per delivery.
In Europe, drone delivery is becoming the default option for consumers, who now must actively choose road-based delivery. Manna operates with a central depot in the city center, deploying drones to strategic locations for quick service.
The company has proven its resilience, achieving a 97% delivery availability rate despite Ireland's challenging weather. Advanced flight dynamics and GPS positioning ensure accuracy even in high winds.
