Rubrik Inc. has unveiled a dedicated protection layer for Google Workspace, targeting over 11 million enterprises globally. The new solution provides immutable, air-gapped backups for Gmail and Google Drive, slashing recovery times from days to minutes.
Anneka Gupta, Rubrik’s Chief Product Officer, stated that modern resilience requires unified protection of data, identity, and artificial intelligence. As cyberattacks increasingly target SaaS platforms and identity systems, this integrated approach bridges critical security gaps.
Rubrik will demonstrate the offering at Google Cloud Next 2026 in Las Vegas next April. Field CTO Matt Castriotta previously highlighted the financial risks of poor cloud resilience during discussions in February.
