A teenager is fighting for his life following an alleged attempted murder on a Mississauga bus early Tuesday morning.
Peel Regional Police responded to the area of Waitline Avenue and Hurontario Street around 2 a.m. for a report of a stabbing. They found a 17-year-old boy with a stab wound. He was rushed to a local trauma center.
An 18-year-old woman has been arrested. She faces charges of attempted murder, assault with a weapon, and obstructing a police officer. She is in custody pending a bail hearing.
The teenage victim remains in life-threatening condition.
