Ali Kadri, the CEO of the Islamic College of Brisbane, says the rhetoric makes young Muslims feel alienated. Following anti-Muslim incidents, the school now employs full-time security guards. Nourhana, 16, feels misunderstood and faces anti-Muslim comments online. Despite the challenges, students at the Islamic College handed out 'Petals of Peace' to promote kindness.
