Hyundai Motor Group's firefighting robot enters burning buildings first, using thermal cameras to see through smoke and locate flames. The self-cooling system sprays water around the robot, enabling operation in temperatures up to 1,500°F.

The robot, equipped with six independently powered wheels, navigates debris and tight spaces. It also carries a glowing hose to guide firefighters through smoke.

Developed with South Korea's National Fire Agency, the robot has been deployed in fire stations and tested in a factory fire. It aims to reduce firefighter injuries, which totaled 1,788 over the past decade.
